Global Activation
Overview
The Global Activation feature allows for you to deploy your emoji reactions sitewide with just a click of the toggle. You can fully customize your emoji layout with tons of options including selecting the pages and posts where you want your reactions to appear.
How to use Global Activation
This feature is extremely user friendly and can be accessed by visiting Global Activation in your plugin folder or, hamburger menu in the plugin. Once you arrive your screen should look like this. Here you can turn on your emoji reactions on your site. Simply move the toggle to the right by using your mouse. This will deploy our default lineup to appear on pages and post at the bottom of each page. To customize your reactions, scroll to the bottom of this page and click the customize button.
Customize in Global Activation
Our Step by Step option builder allows for you to create the perfect emoji reactions for your site. You can easily click between the steps to pick your emojis, setup, style and activate social media options. Preview your changes live as you work! You have full control of your emoji reactions and how you want them to look on your pages and posts.
Step 1 - Emoji Picker
The Emoji Picker let’s you choose from 15 Lottie Animated Emojis or the static SVG version. Simply hover over the emoji you would like to select and click on it once. It will turn blue indicating it is selected. To deselect, click again and it will turn white. You can choose up to 7 emojis.
When you get to the bottom of the page, you can drag and drop the order in which you want your emojis to be displayed.
Step 2 - Set up
This step is the basic setup of the plugin. Options include, choosing your animation, emoji sizes, badge setup and more. To learn more about the options in this step, click here.
Step 3 - Styling
In this step you can customize the background color your emojis sit on along with your call to action message and your border options. To learn more about the options in this step, click here.
Step 4 - Social Sharing
The social sharing option allows for you to hide buttons and reveal them when user clicks on your emoji. This powerful option helps increase social sharing. To learn more about the options in this step, click here.
Step 5 - Review & Save
The final step in our stepper is a preview of how your emoji reactions will look in real-time on your pages. Here you can engage with what you created and make any last minute changes before you save and go live. To learn more about the options in this step, click here.
FAQ's
If you decide to use the one click activation feature and exit plugin, our default settings will be used and your reactions will be activated on your pages and posts.
You can preview the default settings and demo them in the preview box when activating. That is exactly what will be shown on your pages and posts.
